(no subject)
I have not posted in awhile. Things are going ok. We went to Fanime for the first time up in San Jose. It was a blast! just one continous party! We made lots of frineds and solidified old ones. I have gotten more into the cosplay scene lately. I am kind of excited. I have made more stuff this year then I ever have which is kind of cool. I am now getting ready anime expo. I think this year is going to be a lot of fun since Johnny and I have made many new friends in the con circut. It will be good to see so many new and familiar faces. I am making some stuff I am really excited about haha. I am finally going to make a Sailor Moon! I am pretty stoked about that. I think I will be able to do it well too, since I just made something that has similar parts. I am waiting on my wig to come in the mail and hopefully it does not look like ass. Johnny and I are now part of the anime conji "cosplay street team" This means we get to go to events for free as long as we promote conji while in cosplay. Should be fun. We are going to ax for free this way so hooray!
Other then just getting involved with cosplay, things are going ok. We are done for the summer at school. I plan on trying to volunteer my time somewhere involving kids so I will look better when I apply for grad school (this may or may not happen). And I am going to see how long it will take me to complete a associates in psychology. If I can do it in a year, year and 1/2 max I will probably do it. Also good prep for grad school. I am going to try and retake the writing portion of the CBEST soon since that was the point of taking an English class. (crosses fingers) What else? I still have the same jobs, but I am going to start looking for something else since the gym is just getting to be a little to much for me handle since it is rather far, which sucks for gas (even though my car does ok), and the hours are beginning to take a toll on me, I am not a super early person! Oh well. I am going to keep it till I can find something else.
My anime club did really well this time around. I made at least twice as much as I did last year with one club, compared to the 3 I had last time. I think a lot of the students will come back again next year too. So that is good.
That is about it I guess. Just cospalying and sleeping lately haha. I am enjoying a few weeks of less on my plate before I change that!
