Life is a strange thing.
So Herb my manager at the gym got let go. I guess they said they couldn't "afford" him. Wtf? Monday he came in and things were fine. Then Tuesday I come in and all the trainers are in an up roar. I had no idea what happened. I guess it happened after I left on Monday. So yeah fun times. He was also trying to buy the gym with another guy. So I take it that deal did not go through. But they are talking about buying a different building down the street and making a better gym and giving Cardiffit a run for it's business. I hope that happens. I would love to quit here and go work for a nice gym. The owner of this gym is just such a douche. He doesn't pay the bills so we have no paper towels and have not for MONTHS! We end up spending more money on that kind of shit going to the market next door then we would if he would just pay that shit. So yeah. I would much rather follow Herb.
In other news I have started working out on my own. I am going to go Mon, Wed, Fri, and then on Tues, Thurs, I am going to fit in some yoga. They have a yoga channel on Hulu that is not to bad so I am pretty excited about that. So we shall see how long I can keep it up. So far this week I have been good. I just hope that work does not get in the way.
In other other news, ALA was fun. I really needed a good anime con. It was also nice to not be involved with the masquerade. We did have cosplay but we didn't have to worry. And I got talk to the con chair for anime conji about helping out with cosplay. So I am now going to be on staff for that con! This saturday will be my first staff meeting and I am quite excited about it. I hope that the masquerade works out better and it better run. I have all kinds of ideas for this so I can't wait. So ALA was very productive and just a good time. It was nice to see Susan at a con again. I love seeing my whole family there. I kept telling people I was going to eat with my family and they were always confussed and shocked that my family was at the con. Yeah I know. They are awesome like that! :D
And finally I am going to be starting school in about a week. It will be interesting to see how that pans out. Johnny and I are will be in the same English class. I have this feeling it will be him just poking my arm the entire time. Who knows. Should be interesting. He said we can have a college romance...It seems like we would be doing something backwards but that's ok. Should be fun either way.
