I have not written in awhile. Anime Vegas was the same kind of crappy con it always is. It is still enjoyable though. The cosplay seems to always inmporve and be good so yay there. For some reason they decided to have 2 masquerades though a group and a singles one. So of course I had to do both. We entered out Pokemon costumes in the group masquerade. We won a judges award becuase they liked my creative use of materials which included head phones and fun foam. So yay there. Then with the singles I re wore my Ashura costume which I made for anime expo in 2005. It was updated and made to fit me again. Haha. I was known as "One Egg and No Bacon" According to the msquerade Em Cee. For that they really liked how "eco-friendly" I was for using real leather and recyceling other objects like a plastic spoon and soda can. But if it were not for mom and taking it upon herself to make me a sword to go with it I don't think I would have won anything. I won a judges award from the props master judge because she liked my sword. It was made of plexiglass and the handle was a paper towle roll. It truned out awesome and I really do owe my mom a lot for it! <3. Oh! And when I was doing my walk on for the Singles I swear I heard some one yell "She's hot!" and then someone else replyed to them with "I know!" I thought that was really funny. So yeah Anime Vegas was good to Three Eggs and a Piece of Bacon. We kind of have a fan following it is awesome. Other then that the first day of the con we wore our own versions of Alice in Wonderland which was Nikki's idea. I was the White Rabbit. i made some ears and a cute little hat for it! Yay. I found out that April of next year there is going to be an anime con out here. It's first year. That could be itneresting I am going to see what Johnny thinks but either way I want to go. so I guess that is something to think about for cosplay! woot.
So in the world besides anime vegas and cosplay...I have been job hunting in San Diego. I have been here for about a week and am going back on to Vegas Saturday. I have to be back because I am getting a crown! I am finally going to be done with this tooth implant stuff! Yay! Anyway...I do have a job interview with a Spirit Halloween store out here in SD. It is a temporary thing but it will be income and not look stupid for me only being there about a month since that is the nature of Halloween stores. So we shall see what happens there. It could be a good beginning. Either way it is an interview and that is the kind of thing we like haha. There is a job fair out here on Thursday that I am going to go to as well so hopefully something good will come of that. So yay. things are going. Slowly but surely things are going ok. I have been enjoying living on my own. It is nice. I have gotten a little bit lonely but that is to be expected. I really like it here and there are something I want to do to the house. haha. I want to make a day bed by the window upstairs so I can read and it can have storage under it. I have been reading before bed by the window with it open. It is really nice. I finished a book and started to read the "Last Unicron" finally. I really like it so far!
so yeah that is about it really. Just trying to find a way to get out here for "good" and be able to settle down out here. It is going to be hard but I think it is the kind of challange I need. We shall see where it takes me!
