From now on I'll be using my LJ as a commemorative narrative which will refer to various people with whom I've worked, and other professional associations and related stories that I wish to record. If you're a viewer and are not interested in reading about the famous and not so famous, please don't waste your time reading any further. These entries are for my pleasure.
My entire life has been one spent in the arts community, primarily in the music field. Along the way I've had the great good fortune to be able to present myself, and those with whom I've worked, to a receptive audience. Often I've been in the proverbial 'right place' and more often I've sought out those situations and relationships that have appealed to me on an intellectual level.
The impetus for this decision is the recent death of someone I met years ago through a mutual friend at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University. The gentleman I met was Chair of the Psychology department @ Hopkins and his special focus was on the unique properties of Starlings. His name was Stewart Hulse.
I'll write more about him in a day or so.
