Tom Waites
A little while ago I received a call from an Australian bloke who was in L.A. to interview Tom Waites. This gentleman, Gerard W., had been trying to track down someone from the recording academy to get some added perspective re: T.W. and after I disavowed him of my membership (I resigned a few years ago for numerous reasons) I was happy to give my POV for the article. I've always had the highest consideration for Tom W. and have appreciated his work since the '70's. Having just come off of a number of interviews for various media myself, I was able to do a respectable job of, what I hope was, replying in a cogent fashion to the questions. I'll look forward to seeing the entire article when it's published.
