The last few days have made me realise just what good friends I have made since I started at ICSL. And whilst I'm leaving with a bitter sweet taste in my mouth I know that for all it's latter day faults back in the day the School helped shape the lives of some truly wonderful people, not least of all my fellow colleague and indeed friend
fechtbuch.
Thursday and Friday was about saying goodbye and I still wish the School every success although I hope, if they take nothing else from this, certain persons will learn from their mistakes and handle things better with hindsight....but I somehow doubt it!
I think it's safe to say that I was truly taken aback by the wonderful gifts and still haven't read all the messages in the card because I'll just start blubbering (not cool). It was great to see old, new and current faces, to be able to reminisce as well as look to the future
London, it's not goodbye forever, just adieu. I give thanks for the experience, the chance and the opportunities you have afforded me and again, most importantly, the friendships I have made.
For now I'm off for a late breakfast with my cousin in London, and her rugrats (sorry grandchildren), loud but lovely!...peace out.
xx
