I wanted to take you a moment to let you know about the great work done by Goldie Hawn's Bright Light Foundation. This is her way of giving back... it's a charitable organization aimed at helping kids lead fulfilling lives focused on psychological well-being.
When, as a little girl, someone would ask Goldie what she wanted to be when she grew up... her reply was "I want to be happy." She's fulfilled all of her dreams, including finding true happiness, so now she wants to help others, particularly children, be all that they want to be and more.
Planet Mirth
A traveling, interactive science and art exhibition for families and children that demonstrates the physical, emotional and social benefits of joy and laughter; a language common to people everywhere.
Planet Mirth is a 2500-3000 sq. foot traveling, interactive science and art exhibition for children and families that demonstrates the physical, emotional and social benefits of joy and laughter; a language common to people everywhere.
Laughter is a universal elixir and joy is the deep feeling of happiness or contentment that we humans too often find elusive. Planet Mirth is a new innovative approach to understanding the essential role laughter plays in our lives.
Through Planet Mirth, Bright Light Foundation invites children, teens and adults to discover the science of just why and how laughter can literally turn our lives around. As Goldie says, as our capacity for joy and inner peace expands, so does out ability to feel compassion and generosity towards others.
