Hey flist!

I'm always trying to find ways to make my journal more easily navigated and user friendly, since I primarily use it to showcase my fanfiction and videos. I haven't voted because I can't decide. I've been thinking about this for a while myself: does a good tagging system and index posts for chaptered fic suffice, or is a sticky/masterpost list better or a good addtion.

Then I get overwhelmed thinking about chasing up all the links to put in a sticky post :O

Then I think I'd like to link to LJ and DW and FF.net and AO3 in the post. More work.

My current plan is to eventually have a sticky post with a link to an offsite webpage where I can link to all my fic and meta and graphics and fanmixes if I want to, and have multiple urls given, maybe pdfs of chaptered fic available. And it seems like a good plan, just huge and a bit scary and overwhelming, so I don't get very far with it.

Belated reply, because I got swamped by a bunch of mod stuff.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know your thoughts on it. As you can see I went with a sticky post :D

I definitely think you should have a sticky post! People find it so much easier to navigate (people have even done research into it!) and it's a place they can bookmark and come back again to :)
