Backup Plan
I have just finished creating a dreamwidth account to mirror this journal, and am in the que waiting to have my journal entries imported.

I have no intentions of leaving livejournal unless it becomes absolutely necessary. More than having a journal, I value the communities I've joined and friends I've made here. I'm comfortable here. I just like having a backup plan in place.
I have also created a mirror community for peoplespalace on dreamwidth, though it is a bare bones shell at the moment. I am currently trying to find ways to back up the livejournal version of the community. I don't think dreamwidth supports importing community content, but I thought I'd make one to mess with it, to try.
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd welcome the help!
Anyway, in conclusion - I am not leaving livejournal, nor am I dragging all of the communities I'm head mod for over there. But, I am putting back up plans in place. So never fear, if we must move, lotseekerfic , lotsfic_awards , lotsvideo , surlybitches , and peoplespalace at least will be coming with us.
