Time for another Pris Seeker live blog/recap! Typed up at home and posted at the library because of my internet issues.

Yeeeessss we open with the Obi-Wan Kenobi USE THE FORCE scene with the Sword of Truth and the fruit. Come on, you know a Star Wars fan wrote this episode what with the floating targets and the NOW DO IT WITHOUT SEEING.
Lol Zedd being such a Trollicus though. I bet he's moving the invisible fruit around while Richard swings, all like:
Zedd: Don't be too impressed with yourself. Our enemies will be much more devious than a melon.
Lol Zedd. ILU. Also lol at him making up the lessons and misnumbering them.
And yay for the gratuitous nekkidness, and lol Richard getting all hypnotized and whatnot by Kahlan. I think it's cute that he gets all flustered instead of trying to take advantage of the situation, which he conceivably might since he doesn't know yet why he can't be with Kahlan. And then he doesn't notice the horses being stolen, lulz. Nekkid Kahlan > horses.
Back to the invisible fruit though, now that I think about it I like how it ties in with the S2 episode with the mriswith (sp?). The invisible monster guys are all WE EAT YOU YOU CAN'T SEE US, and Richard is all LOL I GOT THIS, I PRACTICED WITH INVISIBLE FRUIT. And the mriswith are like:
Nice running leap onto the horsie Richard! That is incredibly hard to do. I wonder if CH did it, or a stunt double.
LOL RICHARD'S FACE WHEN HE FALLS OFF THE HORSE THOUGH. LOL.
Zedd: A highwayman made off with our horses right under the nose of the Seeker!
Richard: I was distracted.
Zedd: WHAT COULD HAVE DISTRACTED YOU?
Richard: *looks at Kahlan >_>*
Lol the look on Zedd's face. He's all *Ohshit he takes after me
And then lol the part where Richard says he didn't see anything, and Kahlan's all BOY U LYIN.
Gross horse thief boy and your love potions. I don't find you sympathetic at all. You're a creep with magical roofies.
Zedd: Maybe you should just confess them all to find out if anyone's lying.
I wonder if he was serious? It seems a bit extreme just for a few horses, but Zedd is a hard man at times. I tend to think he uses it more as a scare tactic, but with Zedd, who knows?
It's funny to watch episodes where Kahlan still faints after confession. She gets so much stronger over the course of the season I almost forgot about it.

Also, I never noticed, but in the background of the scene where the tavern keeper is telling Richard she spiked his drink, Zedd and Kahlan are getting their hug on. I mean like. Some major hugging. Her face is in his neck, and he's bent and looks like maybe he's kissing her forehead, and it's kind of O_o but it also makes me kind of :3 Because ZEDD AND HIS BB GIRL DAUGHTER TYPE PERSON. /Zedd issues.
And then we see the other wizard, who we learn later used to be Zedd's student. His name is Jeziah or something that sounds really similar. Does he look kind of like Chase to anyone else? Also he kind of reminds me of Jafar for reasons.

And then hurr come confessed man, being all creepy and confessed. I think they made him extra creepy for this episode, because later confessed people, Carver Dunn in particular, are way less creepy. Or maybe it's a reflection of who the man was before he was confessed.
Zedd: [Confession] is a heavy burden for Kahlan. Maybe she'll tell you about it. (Richard runs off) I DIDN'T MEAN NOW.
I can just see Zedd banging his head on a tree going IDIOT BOY IDIOT BOY, WHY ARE YOU SUCH A ZORANDER.
Also is it just me and my Zedd obsession, or is Jeziah/Zedd a little slashy? He's all ~dabbing at Zedd's face, and ~touching him every five minutes, and I can just see it as the student who fell in love with his master, but Zedd is super straight for everyone but Panis, and so he's all >________>
And then we have the R/K talk about the ethics of using stolen magic, and Kahlan defends her confessed man, establishing our first instance of her seeing the confessed as different from the people they were before she confessed them. Also Kahlan almost tells Richard she loves him, and MY CREYS.
Then we're back to Zedd and Jeziah, and Jeziah is all WHO IS THIS YOUNG MAN YOU'RE TRAVELING WITH, YOU ARE THE BEST TEACHER EVER. Yeah, I've convinced myself. Jeziah loves him some ZeddBeast.
And now Jeziah is spouting a lot of stuff about the greater good and necessary sacrifice, and I wonder if this kind of talk is the sort of thing that he learned from Zedd. Zedd was clearly a harder man before Westland.
Awww RICHARD YOU AND YOUR FACES. CHU. CHU CHU CHU CHU.
Gross, tavern keeper. Gross. Offering a magical roofie to Richard. Why exactly does she want Richard's necklace though? It really isn't very valuable to anyone but Richard. I guess it's just so we'd have to see how much he cares about Zedd, to be willing to give it up. Maybe she recognizes it from the wanted posters and she thinks the D'Harans will pay her for it?
And now we see the first instance of the quillion, absorbing Zedd's magic. It's really pretty to be so sinister. *_* Also, Zedd just used magic while wearing a Rada Han and my mind is blown. It's a small spell, just to control a rat, but it implies that Zedd's power is so great that even a Rada Han can't contain him completely. There could be a really cool fic here, where the Mord'Sith have Zedd, and he uses controlled rats to attack them, cause the Mord'Sith would be all OMG RATS.
Kahlan: Love is a choice we make. If we take away that choice, it isn't love.
THANK YOU. ^Definitive line of the episode. I love that Seeker has at least one like this in each episode, that you can take away with you forever.
Skipping ahead, blah blah, Richard's natural skills being > magic, blah, I think Jeziah is butthurt about his fight with Zedd. Zedd hurt his feelings, now he's being all psycho ex-boyfriend. Because. They totally dated. In Jeziah's mind.
Also, good job confessed guy at being creepy. He did well with little details, like he only looks at Kahlan when he speaks, even if it's Richard who said something.
When they find Zedd and he's all whispery croaky, he kind of sounds like Sauron. IT'S CREEPY.
Apparently this episode is just full of creepy.
And then Zedd is all UGHARGHL BLARGHL I'M SO OLD without his powers. This is where I got the idea I used in Blood from a Stone that Zedd uses his han to keep himself vital and sprightly, and without it he's weaker and has more difficulty traveling.
Confessed man: All my life I've been a thief and a liar. Thank you for letting me die with honor.
ALL MY CREYS. I forgot about that part.
And man, Jeziah all invisible, and Richard's all I GOT THIS, I PRACTICED ON FRUIT. And we have the first instance of Richard using the sword to deflect Wizard's Fire, and it's kind of epic.
Zedd putting the Rada Han on Jeziah forever. LOL HARSH. He should have taken Jeziah's powers with the quillion and saved the Rada Han for R/K, but that would ruin the angst storyline so. That's why he didn't. BUT STILL.
Ooooh love Zedd's line repetition. I love significant line repetition, where context makes the meaning different. "To see that which is not there, gaze upon what is."
