Something I am genuinely curious about
All of the stories I have archived on fanfiction.net at this time are marked as being 'complete.'
As in they are finished, I will not be updating them. Ever.
And yet, today, I have gotten five notices that someone has added one of my stories to their 'update alert' list.
This is very flattering and awesome and makes me feel good - I am not complaining about it in the least!
My question is: Why? Why not add it to favorites? Why the update list? It's not going to be updated.
Does ff.net only allow you so many favorites?
I'm not being sarcastic. The answer to this question is driving me crazy.
