Fanfiction Things
I'm resenting the FF.Net potential deletion of the LotS category more today, because it's just taken me five solid hours of screencapping to save all my reviews, and that's time I could have spent working on Dragon Blood. But, I am all backed up now as far as my reviews, stories, and current stats go, so if the deletion goes through, I won't be losing anything. On the up side, it was nice to look over all of my reviews again, barring the flames.
I'll be reposting some fics here that were only on FF.Net, mostly really old ones I posted back before I really understood how to use LJ, and be slowly working to move everything to AO3.
I've also put a notice in my FF.Net profile, stating I will not be updating there anymore until we know what's happening with the deletion of the Legend of the Seeker category.
I have also decided that I will be removing My Brother's Keeper from the internet. Looking over it, I'm just not happy with it as is. The idea is just too big for the time, energy, and inspiration I have to devote to it. It may reappear eventually, if I ever actually get inspired again and finish it. But I don't like having a fic I have no intention of working on anymore and consider sub par just sitting around. So if you want to save what there is of it for your own private reading, I'll be leaving it up for about five days. After that, I'm taking it down. I will leave it on my Master List however, with a notation that you can PM me to ask for a copy if you really want one.
I'm close to doing the same thing with Courting the Moon, because I'm just twisting in the wind with no idea how to finish that story. It's the only chapter fic I've ever written without an adventure plot and everything I come up with for a resolution just seems so cliched. The only thing stopping me is the same reason I started writing it: the lack of Draco/Luna fic out there.
