Catelyn would totally be like this, wouldn't she? I just... my heart, it is squeezing inside my chest. Believe me, I never thought I would say this, but I just WISH TYRION HAD BEEN BORN A STARK, OKAY?

Really beautiful work. And a totally believable what-if scenario.

Thank you so much! I love him as a Lannister, but writing this made me love him as a Stark too. But. He's Tyrion, so I'd probably love him as ANYTHING.

This is a really great fic--but I would love to see how his siblings would relate to him--Jon, Robb, Sansa, Bran and Rickon. How would Theon react? And would he go to King's Landing with Ned or stay behind in Winterfell?

I doubt I'll ever take it further though. I've got too many WIPs as it is, and this was always meant to be a oneshot. ^_^

Pity--it had such a lovely beginning. And I think Cat's attitude/behaviour with Tyrion was spot-on--she WOULD have babied him, albeit more subtly than Lysa does Sweetrobin. He would be the child she would worry about the most. And it is precisely this maternal love and care that Tyrion misses out on as a Lannister.
