I can’t actually compete in LotS LAS because I’m moderating it, but I loved the Round 2 prompt so much I wrote something for it anyway. The prompt was “Look for me by moonlight. Watch for me by moonlight. I’ll come to thee by moonlight, though hell should bar the way!” from the poem The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes.

This brought a lump to my throat. Beautiful and haunting.

In the section describing the Keeper coming at night to meet the Creator you did an astonishing job of matching the cadence of the original poem while making the story your own.

The cadence there wasn't really intentional, but I was thinking about the poem so it just sort of happened. <3

This is lovely. The subtle rhyme between the Keeper and the Creator is just so beautiful, and their separation is so heart-breaking...

I have to comment on this because I have a weakness for this type of fic. I love me some Keeper/Creator romance. Gods, demons, angels...my weakness >_>

So I'm glad you wrote this! Not a lot of people focus on the Keeper/Creator. I love the dialogue, the heartbreaking separation
