Mages...

I was thinking about it. This group has had way too much trouble with Mages. I don't want ANYMORE Mages.

They are dead weight. I am always having to rescue them and protect them. I end up wasting valuable time trying to get them some place safe.

Phys adepts are fine as they can hold their own weight but Mages? No.

Hoggle was a letch, he was useful but he was constantly using others for his own purposes. Hoggle was always getting himself nearly killed. He was useless in a fight fainting at the mere hint of danger. Jory said it wasn't fainting it was spell drain, I guess it could be like dump shock. However these mage types are always unconcious. Jory at least managed to do something. She'd call down an elemental and get some serious work going. If that's what Mages call work. She at least was more helpful for healing and a few other things, but she was still useless against a Vampire. If the Vampire stood directly in front of her she would have been dead.

That Vampire is deadly and Mages just don't cut it.

I don't think I'll ever work with another Mage. They are the least reliable of the fleshies. At least those with cyber implants have an understanding. We know that we need some enhancements to get the work done. Mages don't have any. They rely completely on their own normal bodies. In a fight, we have to guard them.

*growl*

Stupid Mages.

Yeah I know, I miss Jory. I can admit that a lot of my frustration is because she's gone. I dunno, I liked her, maybe loved her. *sigh* Though love is a bit of a weird word for me to use. Her room will be my shrine to her. Perhaps one day she will wake up. Maybe, who knows... I can always have hope right?

Right now? I'll never let anyone who wasn't there in that room. Outside her teacher Sylas.. I need to have Blix get onto tracking him down as soon as I am done drowning myself in alcohol. *sigh* Usually _I'm_ the good one.
