Well it's been a week or so since I've written in here, mostly because I've been busy with school. I feel kinda pathetic for saying that because I'm sure there are many other people who have a lot more going on in their lives while they're also going to school, but nonetheless, I am uber tired. Apparently my brain was on a hiatus of sorts since I graduated high school until now. On one hand I enjoy my mind being more active and working not so sluggishly, but on the other hand, it's really wearing me out. I don't know if I'm retarded or if these Spring classes are just really crazy. Anyway, so specifically I think I'm doing relatively good in all my classes. I think I have a high B or a low A- in Business Math so far, and I hope to do better so I can get to a solid A for a final grade. I've really just made really small dumb mistakes so far, as I always do in math, that have brought my grade down a little. Not talking grades for business math, the class itself is pretty darn easy, so I'm glad of that, because it's in the mornings, when I am normally not functioning at my "highest capacity" so to speak. Unfortunately however, I apparently have not lost my ability to attract wiggers. FML. I just hope we will not take any more "partner quizzes". If any other girl saw the kinds of guys I attracted, I'm pretty sure they'd have as low of an interest in boys as I do. (ha ha, not trying to sound like i like girls, just that i really don't fall for most boys as much as other girls seem to) Alright well, on to the other two classes I have! Culinary Sanitation is pretty good so far, very practical knowledge, so I've been able to remember it pretty well so far. There were quite a few specific food borne illnesses we had to be able to identify from clues and such, which has been the hardest part of the class so far. Here I was thinking to myself that I hadn't studied nearly well enough, and then we did an activity where we basically quizzed each other with our flash cards we made, and I got the most right out of the class, and so I earned a snickers bar, to which I simply, and might I add; quite appropriately replied "sweet". Aw man are my eyes tired. I did not get nearly enough sleep last night. I kept having to get up to pee and then I just couldn't calm down enough to fall asleep forever, and then I of course had to wake up super early as well, cos well, just falling asleep late wasn't annoying enough. Just about 6:40am. AAAH! I'm pretty sure my brain and in turn my body, are super paranoid to sleep in late for some reason. Like being late would be that horrible. I don't understand. Oh well, just gotta deal with it and hope my body gets used to it in time. On a related "I suck" note, I tried to increase the difficulty of the program I was doing on the treadmill yesterday and completely wiped myself out. I only finished half of it. I mean, granted I did do a low intensity program before it as a "warm up", which I thought would help, but it just doesn't seem like I should have gotten that tired from it. I feel so out of shape :( Though I have toned my legs up pretty well so far. They're not to the final stage I want them to be at, but they're way better than they were before. Of course now working out my legs just made the fat move up to my stomach/sides, mostly I just have these really weird looking love handles. It's like I'm a tube of toothpaste that got squeezed from the bottom so now there's a weird looking blob in the middle. Ahh well, anyway, on to my last class: Culinary Nutrition. It's my online class, so it's pretty easy so far. Just gotta keep up with the Chapter readings and quizzes. I'm a little behind just because it took me a while to figure out how it worked exactly. But I figure, I've done everything that had a due date so far, so I'm good. I finished reading the first chapter in the book last night, so I'll do the review questions on it tonight, and then move on to chapter 2 sometime this week after I do my math. If I get those two chapters done this week I'll be on schedule I think. After that there's CAP102 (culinary sanitation) which I have...I think three chapters to go over for that since we don't have class next week on account of Memorial Day. I'll hopefully get started on that by this weekend. I also have to squeeze working out in there, which keeps becoming more and more involved as I continue it. So yay! Well honestly, I'm just happy to be busy, even though I'm tired, I feel productive, and that's something I haven't felt in a while up until recently. So I'm dead tired, but relatively happy. Now on to Business Math!!
