Title: Frustration Smells Like
Characters: Ensemble
Rating: PG-13 (a lot of swearing though)
Warnings: Nothing in particular, I don't think.
Summary: The smell of frustration is different for everyone.
Author's Notes: I've discovered I really enjoy doing those guess who types of fic where it's a series of drabbles and though the characters' names ( Read more... )

Wow, I really love this one. Love the whole Westmoreland one, love Kellerman getting pissed at Brinker (You chose devotion to one woman, your almost-friend, your boss, your Vice-fucking-President. Not a bitch in sunglasses who has had one too many Botox treatments and thinks she’s the best thing that ever happened to this plan.), the Gov one (She’s a bit like her mother in that way, becoming an embarrassment, abusing substances just to escape this horrible life you’ve handed her. and Becoming a doctor seemed like a good start, until you discovered it was only for the morphine. ), the Tweener one (Wheeee, Eminem mention!).

Love the way it ends. And also You have to sit here stranded, while the moisture curls the ends of your hair (you have actually noticed this) .

Abruzzi is the one getting pissed at the lousy restaurant, right?

Thank you! Haha oh Kellerman, I think he ended up really bitchy but hey. You know he just wants to punch that woman's face in. And yes that's Abruzzi in the restaurant. I thought casually mentioning "Tony" might give some hint (lmao I hope that wasn't un-PC?) but maybe I wasn't clear enough. Thank you though, I like seeing which lines you liked best. :)

I didn't think that Abruzzi was too hard to guess, but I wanted to make sure :D

Brilliant work. Each was vey clear and understandable, and the view was interesting, any reason you chose second person? It worked really well, but any other than that?

Absolutely loved Westmorelands. Is that why he called his cat Marilyn, do you think??

Would I be able to add this too my reccomended reading list on my lj?

Thank you! I don't know why but I really enjoy writing in the second person. I did it for a T-Bag fic once and it (unexpectedly) really worked, so I just ended up doing it for this one too. When I wrote Kellerman's I actually did it in the third person before realizing I had to go back and change it haha, that was a major pain in the ass.

I liked the idea of Westmoreland having this association with Marilyn Monroe even though she was sort of before his time. And that hopefully that would also make the identification of him clearer, because of the connection to the cat. :)

I don't see why not! I'm flattered, thank you!

I feel your pain *groans* Done that so many times...

I just adored this. I've read it three times now and every time I find something else to make me go, "Ooooh!" I particularly loved Kellerman, but the one that touched me the most was C-Note. Damn, that made me sad.

Thank you for these, I'll be reading them again, I know.

Aww thank you so much! I'm glad you liked Kellerman's, seeing as I've never written him before in my life. And I always thought C-Note's whole situation was really upsetting so I'm glad you liked it!

"You’re back to square one, no, you’re at square negative one. Hell, you aren’t even on the fucking game board anymore."

I like that you chose to take Westmoreland all the way back to the plane jump. Nice.

"mediocre enough to satisfy your mediocre tastes"

ah, you included Tweener. That was sweet. And the Governor...and Kellerman. You've got everybody! Awesome.

I like how Linc's question is just "why?"

I think the one I liked the least would be Michael's and the one I liked the most would be C-Note's.

Ooh I like that you quoted that C-Note line, I quite liked that one myself. And I think I love Tweener so I wanted to write something for him. :/ I kind of did get everyone lmao, though initially I wanted to include Sara. But when I started writing hers it just felt odd, and it ended up being the Frank Tancredi one instead. Any particular reason why Michael's was your least favorite? It was definitely the shortest, I just have trouble writing him I guess.

Yeah for someone else not hating him! I want to smack him, but there isn't hate.

So it's a Boys Only party. That's ok. Now you'll just have to do something for the girls ::poke::

It wasn't bad or anything...it's just ground that's been trod so many times. Michael and Linc and T-bag get all the attention and hardly anyone writes anything for people like Tweener, C-Note, and Westmoreland. Maybe that's why those three seemed particularly awesome.

Anyway, enjoyed it all.

Exactly! He can be annoying of course but he's somewhat endearing and you just have to feel sorry for him for being in that cell with Avocado. I mean, first it was T-Bag terrifying him, but then to have Avocado be your cellie? Basically my worst nightmare realized. So I had to sympathize.

LOL Oh God, there are like four girls in this whole series and I just don't know how to handle them. Sara I guess I could do and I could conceivably do Veronica but she's such a blurry character to me. I just don't completely get her. It's weird. I have absolutely nothing in common with characters like Westmoreland or C-Note or T-Bag but I find them far easier to write than characters like Veronica or Sara.

This is absolutely brilliant. I liked it a lot. And I've always been a fan of reading and writing in second person. = )
