Just a Friendly Mod Post
Hi everyone! I wanted to take this time to drop a quick note and first say THANK YOU for making this a great fic community! We're getting more and more wonderful fics posted here every day. There are a couple of things we'd like to remind you of, though.
1) Tag your fics! I'm having to tag most new fics posted myself when it's pretty easy for you all to do it. Why are we asking you to do this? If you look at the top of the page, you'll see a link Browse Categories. This takes readers to a page with a list of all the tags and allows them to easily find certain types of fics they may be looking to read. Please include the following tags: Your username, Rating, Characters/Pairing, Gen/Het/Slash, Challenge (if any). The better you tag your fic, the better readers will be able to find it. If you forget to tag when you post your fic, you can always do so by clicking on the Edit Tags button at the bottom of your entry.
2) All new posts must contain fics. Except Mod posts, of course. If you have an annoucement for something happening in the fandom that you'd like to post, run it by a mod and we'll more than likely let you post it. Otherwise, we have three discussion areas that should cover you. They are linked in the sidebar to the left: The Writer's Lounge, Fic Recommendations, and Plot Bunnies & Challenges.
