I'm not sure what it is. It's like the headache changed the chemistry in my brain. It's not only the enhancement to memory, but I find my thinking is indescribably clearer today. I've been reading articles on neurogenesis, depression, and trophic degeneration in the brain (unrelated to all this. I just saw an interesting blog article that kind of google bloomed from there). Usually dense reading, and I admit my thoughts tend to wander into a vague fuzzy territory when reading about scientific research. But I'm following all of the articles in a way I normally don't. I guess the best analogy I can draw is contact lenses. You know, your vision is blurred, but you get used to it, and move about the world. Then you put contact lenses in, and you're sort of taken aback at how clear everything really is. So, today is like my brain got a contact lense.
It's so friggin bizarre, and it was initiated by a headache so severe, I thought I was having a migraine or a stroke. Not sure if I should be worried or happy.
Wellllllllll... if you're not in any pain, I'd opt for happy! :?
Maybe try some research to see if this has happened to anyone else before. It almost sounds like your severe headache triggered an "on" switch in your memory center. Have you been messing with any major electronics lately?
