What is with today?!?
Today has been day of craptastic news to a level which has not been before reached.
1) Ex-coworker died, potential suicide, by semi-truck (as stated in previous entry.)
2) The only independent bookstore left in Toledo, Fireside Books, where my sister works on Sundays, is closing this winter. The fucking huge corporations won. Again.
3) Someone whom I admire immensely and have the utmost respect for, her husband and business partner abandoned her and their 9 year-old daughter while they (the mom, dad, child, and employees) were in Canada on business. He cleaned out the bank accounts, took all their furniture from the new condo they just bought in Vegas, took off with one of their employees, and moved to Miami, Florida. He handled all the finances, she did the creative part. So if people are still sending in money to the website to purchase things, the money is going to go straight to him and the people are not going to get what they paid for. I hope to holy fucking hell that this is a felony, he and the bitch he ran off with get thrown in prison, and they are each made the bitches of very large, unattractive, diseased sadistic inmates who only get off on pain and blood.
She not only screwed over her boss, she screwed over the boss that took her in when she was seventeen and had no place to live.
He not only screwed over his wife, he screwed over his wife who was his friend since they were children.
He not only abandoned his 9-year old. He then wanted the tuition he already paid for this school year back. The poor 9-year old who doesn't understand where her daddy went, and why the woman she looked to as a big sister went with him.
I hope to fucking god that hell truly hath no fury like a woman scorned and that she nails his fucking balls in a rusty grinder and shreds. (In the legal sense, not literally, because then she would go to jail and her child would have to live with that knowledge. But legally, I hope she takes him for all he's worth and gets him thrown in jail.)
