I am so glad it is the weekend.

This messes with my mind.

No, they are not rocks. They are chocolate. Tasty chocolate. When a co-worker gave some to me, I didn't believe him and broke one open before I would try eating it. ^^

I'm really sad that I can't find one of the cords for my scanner. I drew something last night and was going to scan it in and color part of it, but my search of the cord box yielded two of the three cords I need. ;_; I suppose I'll just have to order a replacement cord. Meanwhile, I have to bring anything I want to scan to work which is inconvenient (but gives me the opportunity to run around the office and say, "Look what I drew!" ^^).

Today at work was one of those I-need-this-to-get-this-to-the-client-by-the-end-of-the-day-but-I-can't-give-you-it-to-work-on-until-1/2-before-it's-due x 5 days. And one report stood out above the rest as being particularly tension and stress filled.

After managing to edit/format everything in time, making and binding 5 copies, and driving it downtown before 5, the manager calls to say, "Oops. They didn't need hard copies, the client wanted an electronic copy. You need to get back to the office before 5 to scan, PDF, and email a complete report or we're disqualified from the project." WTF?!?! Got back to the office at 4:50, got it out in an email by 4:57. **pulls out hair, screams like a D.I., then collapses in a heap of nerves and tension**

On one side, it's sad that it's so easy to lose touch with friends but the silver lining is that it's also easy to lose touch with people you don't really like. So if someone annoys you, don't worry, eventually, you won't have to deal with them anymore. This served true for me in high school, Indpls, various jobs, etc. ^^ I just need to remind myself of this every now and then.
