Yay for four-day weekends! That was refreshing. ^^

Last Wednesday, I went to Fireside books, supposedly just to pick up a book I had ordered. I should know better. ^^;; I ended up buying, in addition to A Game of Thrones: Vanity Fair (the book, not the magazine), Arabian Nights, a day-to-day calendar of wine, Antigone (which I apparently already own. Oops), and I put another book on order. Sigh. Biblioholism. It's a disease. One from which I hope to never recover. ^_^ But also the reason I try not to go to the bookstore too often. Though, if I wanted to, I could blame the current jaunt to the bookstore on Stephen, because he's the one who suggested A Game of Thrones to me. ^_~

Thanksgiving went well, though there was a slight snag. We had forgotten to get the turkey roaster out of the storage unit, so I had to make a trip out there Thanksgiving morning (but got a late start due to some killer cramps ;_;). Dinner ended up being a few hours later than intended, but still tasty! (And dad didn't mind waiting)

The rest of the weekend was spent reading (started Game of Thrones, read all the Furuba Natalie lent me, read Ceres: vol 1-4 because I bought it forever ago and never got around to reading it), playing FFXII (I chained 189 at one point!), cleaning/organizing my room and file cabinets (got it down from two cabinets to one!), and seeing Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny. ^___^

Notes for if you see the movie: Stay until after the credits and look for Dave Grohl, you probably won't recognize him unless you're looking for him (I only knew who he was because I actually watch the credits).

All in all, quite a relaxing weekend. I really needed that. ^^

Now to start/continue costumes for Ohayocon! **nods**

movies, books
