Heard back from the car service place this morning. It turns out the issues I have with my car are currently because the last time I got an oil change, they overfilled the oil. Overfilled oil will get into the air intake system and onto parts of your car where oil really should not be, like the throttle. >_<
The estimate for everything is $329.40.
I asked them to very carefully document what issues with the car were due to the oil (they're also changing my spark plugs, which from what I understand, have nothing to due with the oil issue) and I'll be taking the bill to the place I got my oil changed and ask for compensation. If they do not, I'll try the BBB. If that doesn't work, anyone got any ideas?
