“Did you bring the-”
“Yes, I brought the Inarizushi!”
“Bring the sake, Watanuki!”
“Sake, sake!” Mokona chirped.
“I said you can’t have any until you eat!” Watanuki snatched the sake jug away from Yuko’s wandering fingers before twisting around to smack at Doumeki’s fingers when he tried to sneak food from Watanuki’s plate - all while firmly ignoring Himawari-chan’s comments (“Doumeki-kun and Watanuki-kun are such good friends!”) and Kohane-chan’s giggles.
As everyone settled down to eat and Watanuki continued to limit Yuko and Mokona’s drinking-
(“Slavedriver!”)
-it occurred to Watanuki that no matter how irritating, he wouldn’t want to change this.
