my tax dollars at work
OK, so I encountered a motorcade while driving today. Not unusual. This motorcade, however? Unusual.
First, there was the police car that just about cut me off. Ok, fine, go ahead... I'll be over here, swerving into the path of the bus next to me because you waited until you were passing my driver's side window to turn on your siren! Hey wait a minute! You're the lead car in a good twelve- to fifteen -car procession? Sunuva... ok HEY OTHER CARS just because you have two lanes to turn into thanks to me swerving out of that one doesn't mean you should careen wildly around the bend. From where you're coming, there's barely a bend.
OK, Press car, press car 2, press 3, what's "Support"? Is there an ambulance? No. No discernible limousine, either. Are you turning into the McDonald's drive thru? Wait, wait, why are you separating? Five of the other cars are going to Target? Who the hell is this motorcade for?
*excited* Waiddaminit.... is this former President Clinton?!!
Um, I didn't know motorcades could disassemble and reassemble like that. I can see you guys at least a mile ahead of me.
Yeah, I don't know who it was. But he/she annoyed me.
