I just finished watching
"Waco:The Rules of Engagement". I have not felt this passionately about a movie in I don't know how long. I was a senior in high school when Waco took place, and to be honest, I didn't know anything about it. This movie has made me so ashamed of an administration I voted for and a government I trusted. I am not exaggerating when I say that this film has changed the whole way I view our leadership, government, and ideals. I recommend this movie to absolutely everyone. It is not a Michael-Moore type opinon-driven documentary (although I have no problem with him). It is based on video feed from media during the standoff, footage from the US Senate Committee Hearings which took place 2 years after Waco, as well as taped interviews and conversations with Branch Davidian members during the siege. Members of the FBI blatantly LIED to the Senate, and the evidence is on tape. It is sickening as well as disheartening.
