I might do a very dramatic blog entry on my knitblog in a few weeks, but I might not. Some of these will not last until then, though; bought yesterday and will be devoured this week.

I have a box (30) of these. They're very lightly flavoured, tasting mostly of the palm oil and sweet soy sauce. Not having an overwhelming flavour as most ramen do, if I ever feel motivated to add extra veggies and eggs and such as the picture shows, these are definitely the noodles that will recieve that treatment. The flavour on their own is divine, though - not bold, not bland, just good noodles.

Interesting Engrish on the back - delicious indeed.

I might need to buy another box while I know a place that carries them.

Next is some Sunlee -

These noodles are not great, just serviceable, but I love the bowls. We bought a couple of boxes of these last year and used the bowls for everything imagineable until the gave up the ghost. Dishwasher and microwave safe!

Finally a box of Mama noodles.

These are excellent when dry and pretty dang good when prepared. Cute litle pig there, eh? A lot of their noodles include a picture of the animal of choice.

Each of these boxes of noodles were $5.50. This averages out to be more costly than American ramen, but there's only one flavour I have found so far that I LOVE. Most are "meh". The lucky one?

Noodles we have had boxes of before but are almost all et up -

I heart heart love love ADORE this one - how could you go wrong with the Thai take on Korean food?

More Mama. These are... interesting. I didn't like them at first; then after a few I LOVED them; now I think they're too salty. Last bag has been untouched for months. Nice cow in the corner!

These are some "try them out to see if they're worth a box" noodles.

I just couldn't say no to that big bubba shrimp.

More Indomie. They probably have a dozen flavours, but this is the only other one I picked up. I have no idea what flavour this is - haven't tried it yet.

My lunch.

These were the Mi Goreng - explains why I was so fond of them at the start of this entry, eh?
