How is this possible?

I came home after work and took a brief, 1 hour nap. I get up and have dinner, watch a little Sex and the City while doing a few logic problems to keep my LSAT skills fresh and then since my ankle is killing me, I take a vicodin (I'm not an addict) and go to bed. That was at 12:00a. Somehow in the course of events, I have thrown my neck out. I don't know how, just magically I cannot turn my head more than 20 degrees to the right without having the kind of sharp pain that makes you feel like vomiting. And after having a wonderful narcotic, I cannot sleep. I followed instructions, with food and a full glass of water, yet I'm not even yawning. I've stayed awake thinking of way to rearrange my bedroom, tried every yoga and crazy neck popping procedure possible, iced my neck and still cannot sleep or move my head. FUUUUUCK! What is wrong with my body? My bedroom is too hot to sleep in, so I'm going to change my sheets and see if I can put my pillow cases in the freezer (maybe that would make them too damp), take a 30 minute hot shower and try this whole narcotic thing again. I don't want to overdose, but seems like 3 hours would be enough time for the pill to disolve in my system and take effect.

I knooooow I'm not tolerant of it because I know what it did to me when I took it not but 4 days ago.

All I want to do is turn my head and get a few hours sleep so I can do my laundry and clean my apartment tomorrow. Is that so much to ask???
