hey look, an update!
These seem to come less and less frequently nowadays.
Ok, so Halloween weekend is over. Hooray! Don't get me wrong, it's probably my favorite holiday besides, like, Passover; but this weekend was just ridiculous for me. Between going to see three of the MSU Rocky shows and then doing three shows with HoH, there are currently two things wrong with me: One, I am more tired this week than I have been all semester, to the point where I'm falling asleep in classes I actually enjoy. And two, well my throat's been sore since last tuesday, but all the yelling of this weekend and the lack of sleep means that at the moment I can't sing for crap; which is bad because I'm a voice major. I have my lesson tomorrow and it's probably gonna be crappy.
Other than that I can't really complain. Or, I can complain, I just don't feel like it. I figure I'll spare you all the details of what's wrong in my life and just concentrate on the good points.
Good Point: Me and Katie have now been together for over a year. She makes me so happy. Sure we have our disagreements, but every couple does. We both have our little quirks and we're both working to make them better.
Good Point: Again I know this is really in advance, but my recital is on April 20, 2006. We've got half my program worked out so far, and it looks like it'll be amazing, even if I do say so myself.
Good Point: Going along with the first GP, I now have Return to Oz on DVD. Katie got it for me for our anniversary. I love that movie so much, but it's been so long since I've seen it that I forgot exactly how f*cked up it was. And it's a Disney movie.
Good Point: Allow me to indulge my geekdom for a moment. I am now one book away from being completely caught up with the out of print Dragonlance novels, and I am currently watching an auction for the last one on ebay. The only problem is that one of the books I got recently is in the hands of a friend of mine. Every time we try to work out a way for her to get it back to me something happens. It stinks. Oh well. After I get this last one then I'll pretty much just start buying them as they come out.
