(no subject)
Well, I am back in Indy finally, only on my way back I came down with the flu and it has now turned into Bronchitis. Worst of all, I gave my flu to my mom before I left and Justin when I got home. Oops. Plus it's like 5 degrees (ok, really it's 27, but still, it's cold!) in Indianapolis, so I can't go outside without losing the ability to breathe. In good news, that new medicine the doctor back home had me try in the lowest possible dose is working good so far, but not too good. I feel pretty normal, whatever that means, but I'm happy with it. Valentine's day is Thursday and I hope Justin isn't still sick then because I'm making him heart shaped chocolate chip cookies with red and white icing and pink sprinkles for his gift and I want him to be able to enjoy them :) Plus I feel bad for getting him sick. He had to call out of his pediatric rotation this morning since he was so sick and had trouble getting back to sleep. I think he's finally sleeping now though. I think I'm mostly up for the day as I slept plenty last night. But that's cause I have cough syrup with codeine in it. My sister got a gift in the mail yesterday from my aunt and grandmother for valentine's day and I checked our mail yesterday, but didn't have anything yet. I wonder if the mail has come yet today. It's kinda icy out so it may not have, but I might bundle up in a few minutes and go outside to check. Anyhow, it's great to be home even if I am sick. Now I'm off to either eat or brave the cold tundra that is our front yard.
