another weekend
Friday, we discovered a really yummy Mexican restaurant by the mall here called El Rodeo and all their stuff was so fresh :) Saturday we went ring shopping again to two places and we figured out what I want pretty much. Then we went to Broad Ripple and ate at Naked Tchopstix which had really good sushi. They had a version of my favorite roll from Asakusa which was called the Aloha roll, only this was the Maui roll and it was even better! We also explored Broad Ripple for a bit and that was fun. Sunday we just did homework and housework and grocery shopped. We've been watching seasons one and two of scrubs most nights lately. Justin bought them a week or two ago. I also finally have plans with someone besides Justin tonight. I'm meeting this girl who lives near me, Sarah, for dinner tonight. Not sure where yet. We'll decide once she gets off work. The job hunt is still going nowhere for me. So frustrating! I don't understand why people say they're hiring but don't want to schedule interviews for months! I'm going out to do more job hunting today. Supposedly. I really don't feel motivated to do it though. I'm thinking of driving up to Ft Wayne for the day Sunday. Justin's dad is going to be here visiting him all Saturday and Sunday and all they do is watch sports, so I might want to get away. My little patio garden is not doing so well lately. We picked the two tomatoes that had grown because they turned red. We also picked the banana pepper because it had reached full size. Now those plants look like they're dying and my red bell pepper plant still has small green bell peppers. I'm not sure how long those things take to turn color. The green bell pepper plant is just starting to flower, so hopefully the vegetables will start growing soon. Our herbs are all having problems. I've been spraying them with soapy water since I saw beetles on them, but they still look like they're getting eaten. Plants are frustrating.
