Did I really just find a job this cool?
I had a job interview today. I found the job advertised in the Indy Star (newspaper) and called to find out more. It's a job with the Citizen's Action Coalition of Indiana. They fight for environmental legislature and to keep the electric companies inline, and also are all about health benefits for everyone and tree-hugging... all that fun hippie stuff too :) The group sounds awesome. I believe in all the stuff they fight for. The pay is wonderful and so are the benefits and vacation time and holidays... *sigh* This job sounds amazing. I do some shadowing Monday to make sure it's what I want to do and that they like me. Then I have my second interview and I can start working Tuesday if I want to :) It was the most laid back interview I've ever done. I felt so comfortable there and the boss was super nice and we chatted and got off subject a lot, lol. I really cannot wait to start this job! Yay! Plus, it's sooooo nice to finally get a job that matters. I was sick of bullshit jobs that don't mean shit to anyone with a company that couldn't care less if I was there or happy or not.
