State Park
It was a nice walk today. We went to the state park here and walked the trails a bit. I love being out there. I feel so so close to nature walking and the calmness that surrounds me out there helps alot also.
Took lots of pictures and then the pups played in the water for awhile. I think they were having alot of fun and it cool them off too. I know there are things I should be doing for school but it has been so nice lately doing the walks with the dogs and spending time together. Time that before we never seemed to have.
Yesterday I got the letter in the mail for the Sexual Assault Program to become a volunteer for. I have been waiting for that to come and I was excited. Exicted because something I have been wanting I am getting. Something I have been passionate about. A dream I was hoping one day to make come true. I know its just a volunteer job for now but its already set that I will be doing my internship there for social work and I was told that someday it could turn into a paying job.
I cant fix everything but I can help to alleviate some stress. I still havent got my diabetes under control but that will probably take some time to get right. All I know is I feel things are getting better between us and I hope its not false hope because I just want to spend many more years together. I want to be able for us to have our dreams come true.
