First thing is first: My condolences to anyone who is directly effected by Virgina's latest movement.
As a straight, white male who's main residence is London, and who is currently in love with a woman, I know it doesn't effect my lifestyle. However, I look around at the majority of the people closest to me in my life, and their significant others of the same sex, and I see the love that exists between those couples....and compells me more than ever to want to take a stand against it. All forms of love should be recognized.
I know that Tony Blair isn't the most supportive on this topic, either. I hope that someday, I'll be able to help this situation. My opinion doesn't matter much right now, but maybe someday.... hopefully I can do something . In the meantime, I don't plan on being quiet about any of it, no matter what.
