Another pound ; OnHo ; PG
Minho overhears what he thinks is a confession. He feels his heart throbbing fast, head pounding harder and legs turning weak. He should've known, and all he does now is regret. He thinks, maybe, just maybe, if he'd realized earlier, then Jinki wouldn't have suffered from a cardiac arrest. And he wouldn't be laying on this bed, being fed through tubes, eyes seemingly hollow.
"I just thought if I became skinny enough, people would start noticing me more." Jinki whispers audibly.
"But I liked you the way you were, hyung." Taemin says, running his fingers along the rigid sheets of Jinki's bed, "Everyone does. You're funny--"
"I just. For once. Wanted to be noticed for my looks. That's what I joined this industry for, wasn't it?"
Minho's heart breaks a little at this. He should've noticed the drastic weight changes during the period where Jinki lost a whole dozen pounds during the musical promotions.
Then he falls.

He kicks at the rubble, ochre rubber soles against solid tar. Soot. And he smiles. Jonghyun thinks it's funny how tar doesn't turn your shoes black, but soot does.
"You know, soot's just like dust." Kibum chuckles in the corner of the valley.
In his very honest opinion, Kibum was the annoying junior in the cheerleading team you'd see in teenage dramas hankering after popularity. It was just that Kibum has always been popular, and has that very cool mom whose baking and (and, mind you) cooking skills are on par with a michelin chef.
"And you're just like Park Heejeong."
"Who?"
"Yoohee's secretary in Witch Amusement."
"Right," Kibum scoffs, "and you call me juvenile."
Hi! Thank you for reading my drabbles. I recently re-located all my stories to a community, so it'll be easier to search on my own. :) I may occasionally include translations (Japanese - English) so, yes.
I'd like to clarify about Another Pound. I've been battling anorexia for some time (and I still have it... it's more of EDNOS now) and this was how I've always imagined my death to be. Without Taemin there of course. Maybe just alone or something.
