Ali seized the moment of freedom her fiance had and came up behind him, wrapping her arms around him to drag him onto the dancefloor. Lachlan was just stepping up to the microphone again and leading into the a modern, hipper version of 'Do You Love Me' by The Contours. Ali had requested it earlier, asking him if he could sing it. He hadn't even hesitated, and told her it was always fun to sing. She turned Andrew in her arms and was already starting to swivel her hips enthusiastically to the music. "Dance with me, sexy," she said with a bright grin. This was going to be a test. Andrew did dance, but she wasn't going to let him off with the slow huggy sway thing this time. She wanted to really dance and this was one of her favourite songs from one of her favourite movies. She wanted to know if Andrew had even a hint of the dirty dancing in him.

Lachlan led out of the talking at the start and grabbed the microphone to veer into the lyrics. The dance floor was soon packed and Ali grabbed Andrew's hips with a cheeky grin, warning him she wasn't going to let him off lightly.

Andrew was taken by surprise at first when he found himself tugged onto the dance floor by Ali. He laughed as he watched her, listening to Lachlan begin the song. Then her hands were on his hips and she was rocking against him to the music and the penny dropped. He glanced around, noticing some people were watching them. It had been the first time they had come on the dancefloor for anything more than a slow song, and his family and friends knew he was a pretty shy bloke...

Mostly.

He matched her mischievous grin and then after a couple of beats in the song, matched her movements, catching her in his arms and falling right into the suggestive dance moves with her. He wasn't that shy. He still had a few aces up his sleeve when the time was right. He did know how to dance, it just wasn't a widely known fact. His hips met hers in their movements and someone whistled off to their left, but two could play this game and he had only eyes for Ali. He smirked at her right before he pulled her into a heated kiss, not missing a beat in their dancing.

Ali was stunned, and more than a little hot and horny. She was mush in his arms and the kiss before she knew what was happening and when it broke, she laughed, dropping her head back and broke apart from him just long enough twist around in a circle before she was back in his arms again. "Ohhh, ba-by, you got the moves," she purred, still laughing. "Will you marry me? My fiance might not like it, but I'm going to come in my pants from this hip action!"

Andrew grabbed her and dipped her, holding her back easily in his arms. He grinned down at her and brushed his lips across her throat teasingly, though not quite letting them touch her skin. "Here's hoping, beautiful," he threw back cheekily and pulled her up again, dancing her around in a circle, rocking their hips back and forth together in time to the music. He spun her around so her back was against him, his hands sweeping possessively over her torso and hips as he pressed his lips to the side of her throat, pulling her back against him so he was pressed against her butt.

"Who are you, and what have you done with my bashful fiance?" Ali accused teasingly. "I'm officially dumping Patrick Swayze as my boyfriend for you. You have a bigger cock, unless that is a gun in your pocket. Or rocket launcher," she added with a smirk. She looked over her shoulder and caught his lips in a kiss. She was also never going to want to hear another version of this again after here Lachlan sing it.

"Oh, now you're just exaggerating. It's not quite a weapon of mass destruction yet," Andrew joked back. He kissed her heatedly, not bothered about the fact they had an audience. It was his birthday and was having loads of fun. Ali was just the sexy icing on the cake, and right now, he really did want to just taste her.

He didn't give her any warning before he swept her up into his arms. "Are you sure you should be dancing in such a fashion, m'lady?" he said, his nose scrunching up with another mischievous laugh.

Ali was laughing like she never wanted to stop now. "No, I think you're right. I think you need to take me out to the back room and fuck my brains out right now," she said and kissed his nose, not protesting to being in his arms at all.

Lachlan came to the end of his song on the stage and was drawing even more attention to Ali and Andrew by complimenting Andrew's coveted dancing skills. He continued speaking though, telling everyone to get their butts onto the dance floor because he had a special dedication sing. "This one is for the Birthday Boy, from his one and only, Ali. She loves you buddy. You've gotta be giving her some extra special thanks tonight after the party for all this," he added pointedly with a wink and started singing 'How Sweet It Is'. "I needed the shelter of someone's arms and there you were. I needed someone to understand my ups and downs and there you were. With sweet love and devotion, deeply touching my emotion. I want to stop and thank you baby. I just want to stop... and thank you, baby!"

Ali bit down on her lip and then smiled happily at Andrew. "Happy Birthday, baby," she told him again, even though she had said it many times earlier in the night. "Dance?"

Andrew felt him getting teary with happiness. He couldn't have had a better birthday if he tried. He eased her back down onto the dance floor and swept her up into her arms, holding her close as they moved together with the music. "You're amazing, beautiful. You changed my life, you know. From the minute I met you in the back of that ambulance, my life has never been the same. You just... reminded me how to be happy again. These words... it's all you for me too. I just wanted you to know that. You, Jamie, and our baby, you're everything to me," he told her with a smile, dropping a hand between them to rub her stomach softly.
