Tab shifted on the sofa and retreated further away from Luke. She curled up into a ball and tried to keep from wincing. She wasn't sick. She couldn't be sick. Tab hated being sick. She looked down at her left hand to examine the scar from her car accident. She hated feeling weak. Hadn't she had enough of it? She was finally starting to get back onto her right footing.
She and Luke were waiting at Riley's while Aiden did the brave thing and went to see Pat in the hospital. She stuck out her bottom lip briefly before she just tried to sit still and not give away the fact that she was really starting to feel sick. It was all Riley's fault.
"Did we make a decision?" she asked Luke, referring to the TV Guide in his hand.
