Chase smirked and his eyes explored the scarf, and then he looked beyond it to the large glass windows. "It might looks suspicious," he reminded her and reached for her gloved hand. "I'm sorry this sucks so much for you."
Rogue let out a sigh as her shoulders slumped in defeat as she remembered the windows. "Bugger. Can't we close the blinds? I mean, I got ya fries too, so how are ya s'posed to be sneaky if they can see it all?" Rogue squeezed his hand and gave a shake of her head. "Don't be sorry. I'm the one that landed ya here. I shouldn't be complainin' now that you're awake."
"Guarantee, you close the blinds and House plus team will be here in seconds. Next thing they'll be thinking is that you're drugging me. But it's cool. I got Cameron to plant fake blood and urine samples with my name on them in the labs. They'll be discovering in about an hour that I'm pregnant and diabetic," Chase sniggered.
Rogue couldn't help but smile. She liked having her husband back, especially now that he was joking again. "I swear he was gonna rumble me in the hallway back there. I'm pregnant! I don't need a cripple tacklin' me 'cause he thinks... whatever the hell he thinks. I feel like settin' Logan on him."
