(no subject)
Just taking a moment aside from sleeping to update really quick.
We went out to dinner to celebrate last night. It was nice to be able to just let go and enjoy ourselves. Eric took like a thousand mints from the place. It is so wonderful to see him in such high spirits. His mom is trying to talk to him about something, but she seems angry at him and the world for some reason.
I'm moving up to Standard in DDR. I can pass a few songs already. The half steps were killing me, but I'm starting to get them. Unfortunately, I can only pass 5 footers, but I HAVE only been playing for a couple of weeks. I can get A's and AA's on almost all of the songs on Light. My only problem is full combos. I get like halfway through the song and get one good and that's it. Still messes me up, though. I guess the only way to get better is to practice. I can beat a lot of the songs with speed mods, but that gets rid of all those damn half steps. That's not really making me any better, and the beat doesn't really go along with the song. So, I'm definitely not going that route.
Oh well. Back to bed I go.
