Killing time...

Jul 20, 2004 12:49

Hmm, got a few hours to kill before finally going to see The Notebook. I know, I know...it'll probably be a huge disappointment, cuz I loved the book and Hollywood is probably gonna tear it apart on me and I'll hate it...I KNOW!! But I still need to see it, cuz I loved the book sooo much.

Note: I am not saying "the book was sooo good." I'm saying I loved it. I'm not trying to say it wasn't sappy or it was this incredible work of literary merit. I just like it. So shut up. :)

In the meantime...stole this from...everyone:

Favorite commentator on I Love the 70's, 80's, or 90's? You know, I just watched I Love the 90's for the first time the other night and I LOVED it. I didn't watch enough of it to know anyone by name though...so I'll just say I love them all.

Favorite "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" member? Never seen it (hangs head in shame).

Most likely you will find me: sleeping, working

Your favorite adjective to use in mad libs? sexy

Best show that was on nickelodeon back in the day: This is like asking a mom to choose her favorite child...impossible. I'll try, but I know I'm going to leave something out. To make this easier on myself, I'll pick a few...cuz I mean, my Nick Jr. days were like a completely different level of "back in the day," are they not? Soooo...The Noozles, David the Gnome, and Eureka's Castle top the list from the Nick Jr. era. Remember The Noozles? Funny thing is, I don't remember the show being called The Noozles, I thought it was The Koala Show. Weird...but we were trying to look it up a few days ago and discovered that it was, in fact, called The Noozles. I think everyone remembers David the Gnome and Eureka's Castle...no explanation needed. Now, moving on to my older, wiser days...Nickelodeon...hmm. Well, I loved Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts...but I'm sure that I'm forgetting a ton of other awesome ones...

Last movie you watched that you laughed so hard you cried: Hmm...laughed so hard I cried? I've cried at plenty of movies, but I don't recall it ever being out of laughter...I would have to say, "Saved!" was the closest.

Favorite sport you played on the playground: We (Cibbo, Colin, me, and some of our other awesome kindergarten friends) had this awesome game called Biting Baby...yeah...those were the days...

What character on TV would you compare yourself to? Hmm...none? I don't really know...I used to think Monica from friends, mostly cuz I'm as OCD as she is, but then she got mean in the last 2 seasons, and I'm not mean, am I? Not usually.

Favorite show you watch on television that not many other people watch? American Dreams. Mostly cuz it's really the only show I faithfully watch on television...

What did you last look up on a search engine or ebay? My roommate for next year...hey! Stop laughing. I wrote her a letter 3 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back yet so I'm getting nervous. Shut up. Maybe she's away for the summer.

Favorite class you have ever taken? AP History I loved cuz I am a huge geek. Huuuuuge geek. I'm basically retaking it in college, just cuz I love US History that much. I also loved AP English and Humanities this year. No, NOT because of Vitonis...I loved the books we read in English, and I loved basically everything we did in Humanities, minus the 20 page paper.

Got milk? Milk sucks, got vodka? I saw that on a t-shirt and I really want to get it...

Have you ever seen the Oscar Meyer wiener mobile? Noooooooo...my life is incomplete.

Favorite moment in a haunted house: Haha. Hahahahaha. Ok...so this one time at the beginning of sophomore year, I don't think I had even spoken to Matt Wanders before, but he was waiting around the high school needing a ride home, and I was heading to a haunted house with Walsh and Colin so I asked him if he wanted to come along and we could give him a ride home afterwards. Sooo off we all go to the haunted house, and you go through in pairs, so Walsh and Colin paired up, leaving me with Matt. While waiting in line, a scary monster sneaks up behind me and scares the SHIT out of me and I scream. Walsh, Colin and Matt are like "Hayley, it's ok." Ohhhh, good idea. Suddenly I am surrounded by about 5 monsters all saying "Hayyyyyleyyyy...Hayyyyyleyyyy...." Ahhhh!! I have never been so glad to get inside of a haunted house in my LIFE. So then we're inside, and me and Walsh start freaking out and we're both basically attached to Matt and Colin (Matt who I had never really met until an hour earlier). Finally it's over and we're like, whew, we're outside. THE MONSTERS WHO WERE FOLLOWING ME IN LINE WERE WAITING FOR US ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HAUNTED HOUSE!! Walsh and I sprinted into the parking lot and she actually hugged me. Yep, Walsh willingly gave me a hug. That's how scared we were. And that, ladies and gentlemen, was my introduction to Matthew Wanders.

The color socks I have on right now: Who wears socks in the summer?? Freak.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop? That's dirty.

DVD you want to come out (tv series, movie, etc): Seinfeld on DVD...and "Saved!"!

Porn star name: (first pet you had and street name) Ben School...uhhh...wicked hot. Hmm...how about the last pet I had, and my first street? Chloe Vernon. Much better!!

Favorite Book you have read over the summer: This summer? Well, the only book I've read this summer so far has been The Notebook. Any summer? The Eight.

My, that was exciting...but not as exciting as the fact that I'm going to Providence Place for the 2nd time this week today. And to see The Notebook. And Matt is coming with me. This is my exciting day for the week. :)
