Stupid, stupid doctors...

Sooooooo my rib is broken. Not literally broken, as the x-rays will show, but broken as in it is protruding from my body in a very painful and ugly manner.

Now, this is no big deal, as this started happening every so often about 2 years ago, and I was told by the doctor, "Don't worry about it, it's probably always been like that and you just haven't noticed it..." Riiiiiiight.

So here we are, 2 years later, and I've learned to deal with it happening every so often. However, for the past month or so, it's been happening almost every day and getting more and more painful until the other day at work I couldn't even mop cuz it hurt to breathe. So off we go to the doctor, who sends me off for a lovely MRI. At the MRI place, the lady keeps talking about my spinal column and injured disks and we keep telling her, it's my RIB thats the problem, my back is fine, there's nothing wrong with my back. And she's like "yes...your rib...well, back problems could lead to rib pain...sometimes..." Sure it could. So I have my MRI and go off on my merry little way.

So my regular doctor calls today and says, "well, we have good news and bad news...the good news is, your spinal column is fine...the bad news is, they didn't do the MRI on the right section of your body at all..."

Awesome. Thanks for listening, little Miss MRI. I told you my back was fine and you wouldn't listen and now I have to have another MRI. Thanks a lot.

It's not so much that I'm bothered by having another MRI. They're painless and no big deal at all. I'm bothered by the fact that I can't sleep cuz of my frickin rib, and it's gonna be another 2 days until we find out why.

And I'm also bothered by the fact that my big excitement for the summer was the tumbling class I was going to take in July...but guess what I can't do now? Tumbling. Cool. Not being able to take tumbling is not really MRI lady's fault, I realize this. However, right now I'm cranky and it's more fun to blame her for that too.

I'm making my angry face. And it is very scary and intimidating, let me tell you.
