I love you to annoy me. So don't shut up and keep "annoying" me. ;)

But seriously, there will always be those who be judgemental and read you wrong, and then criticize you in an unfair fashion at times. I learned this lesson the very hard way.

And people use the word "Fetish" nowadays as if everyone who has a fetish is commiting a crime, and won't see more than the appearance of the person. I have been accused of fetishizing. Well, I know I am not fetishizing my boyfriend because he has a mind and a personality that I would adore the same in a white guy, or a Latina girl or whatever. But hey, your attraction to a person has to start somewhere. :)

Of course... I also have a fetish for very intelligent people who can speak their minds in a diplomatic way. I have a fetish for artistic souls... But unfortunately, I seem to have a fetish for arrogant people too (my last big crush was on a former female LJ friend who was just as arrogant as many of the guys I fell for in the past...

Anyway, you keep being yourself and speak your mind as you see fit. If others don't like it, it's their loss.

I think the word "fetish" is way overused. It's not a "fetish" if you happen to just like a particular trait on certain people.

I can understand the grief you get. People who use those words for cross-cultural relationships are betraying their own prejudices.
