Mmm! Livejournal: The reason I never get any work done.
~ Wow! Maybe I'll make a meaningful update. o.O Well, somewhat meaningful. Hehe
~ On Friday, Kendall went to a rehab center with his psychology class for extra credit. o_o; Ahhh! So I didn't get to go home with him. >.< Instead, TJ, Brianna, and I went to Lexington and picked up Joel along the way! Yaaay! ^^ Although the weather fluctuated between cloudy skies and then lots of rain, we had a great time! We went to the mall first. We looked around the bazillion stores to find some cool stuff. My favorites were Hot Topic and the Yankee Candle Shoppe. lolol XD After that, we were all starved! o.o;; We ate at this DELICIOUS Japanese restaurant called Miyako's. Wow! Usually I hate regular rice, but the rice they made tasted great. :D We all ate with chopsticks too! O.o I did pretty well for being a newbie. ;D Haha I got beef teriyaki, which was sooo good! Then we all got tempura ice cream for dessert. It's like fried ice cream you can get at Mexican restaurants. They take a ball of ice cream, coat it in funnel cake type batter, and fry it. They put chocolate syrup and a cherry on top of it too! :D Mmm! ^^ After supper, we went to Barnes and Noble to look around. We had to be out of Lexington by 8:00pm. We dropped Joel off and came back to Morehead. It was a really fun trip!
~ On Saturday I woke up around noon and worked on my English homework. *Gag* I had to find at least four sources about animal testing, write an annotated bibliography using them, THEN write an essay about how I'm going to conduct my argument for my seven page argument paper. That took, like, all day long. >_< *Sigh* Then I played Civilization III until I puked. :p lolol Kidding! I actually won when playing on 'Warlord'! ;D It was hilarious because I saw a crapload of German soldiers coming toward my border. I thought, "Hmm... That's funny. Where can they go? My land is the entire southern half of the continent." Then it happened - one of his soldiers attacked mine! LOL I screamed, "HOLY SHIT!" LOL I have NEVER been attacked in a game before. ;p But that's probably because I have it on the lowest difficulty setting when I play. XP I managed to hold them off until we signed a peace treaty. Japan attacked me some time after that. Augh! I hate their samurai people. ;p lolol Anyway! I won in the end! ;) While I played Civ III, I had [adult swim] on TV. I kept hearing these fart noises throughout Ghost in the Shell. o.O At the end of the episode, my brother called me, laughing his head off, and said that it was their April Fool's Day special. ;p Lorrrrd! They did it throughout Fullmetal Alchemist too. =p Haha It was pretty funny, but a little annoying. ;p lolol I forgot we had to set our clocks ahead, so I did that before going to bed at 3:45am new time... Augh! O_@
~ Today I woke up at noon. Blargh. I took a shower, got dressed, and did my laundry. Holy crap! I had so many clothes to wash. =/ lolol I managed to have enough room to hang everything up, thank goodness. Hehe Then I sat down and finished my discussion lead summary and questions. Phew. That took a few hours to do. I never look at the clock anymore when I do homework. ;p It's too depressing how much time on my weekends goes toward getting stupid crap done for classes. =/ lolol
~ Anywho, I'm just waiting to hear from Kendall if he got back to campus yet or not. Maybe I'll finish my Spanish assignment for tomorrow. I won't have to worry about it then. Oooo! I think I'll do that.
~ Oh, and the special weather announcement guy scares the HELL out of me. I hate that mechanical, pseudo-male voice. >.< lolol Ahhhhh!
