Meredith: So, do you think that Sabo is arguing that we should get rid of football entirely?
Woman who sits behind me: I think that he is. And I think that that's dumb. I think it should be okay for men to feel, but I like my men to be able to handle pain. I like them to be strong so that I can feel protected. I wouldn't like it if men were like women. You have to draw the line somewhere.

Heather: Certainly, our experiences of "family" are shaped by other social institutions associated with race. The Black Church, for example. Not that church isn't important to white families, there just isn't such an institution as "the White Church."
Woman who looks like Dionne Warwick: What about the Pope?
Mean woman who sits right next to me: No, that's the Mexican church!
What?! What!?
You have to be kidding me. Who are these people? Sometimes, when they speak, I want to forcibly liberate my eardrums from my head with the business end of a pencil.
