today, for some reason, i am feeling a sense of worth and accomplishment. this morning, i took everybody to work and school and got back into our neighborhood by 10ish. then i went to borders for some coffee, a scone, and some quiet away from the house. there i purchased (all for a relatively good price),
-i'm just here for the food by alton brown. this is for dad for xmas.
-otto goes to the beach by todd parr. for ilana. and me. because making friends in a new place is a difficult business. and also because i'm a little in love with todd parr.
-and trans liberation by leslie feinberg. because i haven't read it yet. and that, my friends, is a shame.
then i looked up classes at gcc. and when i went to pick up the boy, i drove to it to see how long it'd take me to get there from his school. fabu, huh? jodi will come home today and hopefully by the end of the week, i'll be signed up for classes. woo. that is, assuming, that my mom gets her act together and the fafsa gets done. ah well. anyhow.
