back in the city
new york, here we come. tentative itinerary:
8:00am - leave flint.
noonish - pick up ari and money in cleveland.
8:00pm - arrive at jfk, park, take shuttle to subway and subway to 106th street. walk to jazz on the park.
whenever - wonder around times square and rockafeller center OR go straight to cbgb for joe strummer tribute/book release deal.
saturday
9:00am (or earlier) - leave jazz, spend morning shopping at union square holiday market and in the east village.
noonish - lunch at that fun diner on st. mark's place
3:00pm-11:00pm - bread and puppet theater shows... dinner in there somewhere.
late - bar-hopping of some sort, i'm sure. hopefully of the gay sort.
sunday
9:00am - up and out for more holiday shopping. chinatown is featured. (i wonder if the mini almond-doughnut guy is still around...)
random other crap.
5:00pm - return to the car at jfk and begin our journey home.
