So frustrating, wanting to respond to someone else's post (in this case a friending meme) and not being able to do so. I get an insertion cursor over the "post" button, not an arrow, and it won't work. Need $$ for a newer computer....
So, I put it here. It's not as much fun as a properly- placed one, but:

What you post in your journal: Random thoughts, weather and newsy stuff; occasional unfinished works.
Princess Tutu
How you became a fan: My sister plunked me down in front of the TV and said, "Watch." End of Akt 2: (me) "So, she... dances at people...?" End of season 1: "Can I keep this (the DVD set) for awhile?" Christmas a year or two later: (Sister) "Here, I'll get my own set."
Favorite Episodes: (All of 'em... Really.) Possibly 22 and 23 though. Or anything with the horse.
Favorite Characters: Mr. Cat (but I'm glad not to be in his class.) The main four. Practically everyone else, including the Ghost Knight.
Favorite Pairings: Canon, really. There's enough twists and turns to keep things interesting throughout, but the romance wasn't why I like the anime so much.
Other Favorite Aspect(s)of Your Choice: Where to start? It's fitting that the plot ultimately hinges on storytelling, because it's a well- told story. Like the best X-Files episodes, or the Harry Potter books, it's crammed full- you never know which details are going to be important, at the time or later, and any of them can be fodder for art or fic. Music is a big thing for me; I love the soundtrack. And of course, the Fans-- an active and courteous fandom has made sure I've written more for Princess Tutu than anything else. (But don't stop being active and courteous fans on that account, please.)
Your fandom activities (fanart, fanfiction, AMV making, etc): Mostly fanfic. Occasional forays into amateurish art, but it's been too long....
Any Personal Headcanon/Fanon?: Lots, by now. Duck's adult plumage is white. Autor might have a little of Drosselmeyer's power that comes out in his music. Rue has a Vocabulary. Mytho develops a sense of humor. Fakir is a self- taught swordsman and an unrefined rider (but that's actually visible.) Etc.
Etc
Music: Classical. Folk. Enya. Weird Al Yankovic, Roger Miller, lots of that sort.
Books: Discworld, Tolkien, Harry Potter. Practically anything I can lay hands on, but I don't seek out romances (unless you count reading Pride and Prejudice once.)
Movies/Shows: Good gracious... lots. Currently, Good Eats, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and American Pickers... Restaurant: Impossible... Once Upon a Time... whenever I can. And the original Star Trek, with its adjunct Animated Series. And... Dr. Who, the early decades (up through, say, Peter Davison, although I wish I'd seen more Sylvester McCoy.) Movies: I watched The Great Race the other night, again. I like Without A Clue, and Tangled. And gazillions of others; but I don't care for foul language and graphic sex- 'n- violence, which limits things.
Games: Sudoku. Zelda. Mah Jongg. Sweet Tooth. Stuff. I've never had any strategy in chess, but I'll play.
Anime: Just this, really, although I like Miyazaki/ Studio Ghibli movies. I missed a lot of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, but I watched what I could up to last summer. Unless my sister provides it, I don't have access to much. I do have a bunch to watch, come to think of it... Death Note and some others.
Other fandoms you are in: Harry Potter. I never finished or posted an X-Files fic. I don't really have time for a lot.
Anything else?: God. Work. Horses. Model horses, mostly Breyer and Stone, and tack- making and model remaking and repainting. Cats. Leatherworking. 4-H. Medieval armaments. All sorts of Stuff. And an outdated computer and dial- up.
