In the most significant reversal of economic policy since it
was founded, North Korea has announced the establishment of
a capitalist zone near its border with China.

Gov. Gray Davis of California signed a series of gun
measures, including a bill to repeal the special immunity
from liability suits granted to the firearms industry
nearly 20 years ago.

Results from 17 papers that had been promoted as major
breakthroughs in physics were dismissed as fiction.
this one was just funny...who in the fuck would do this??? if these people are so smart, didn't they realize that they would be caught eventually? some people willdo anything for recognition...
Daschle Defends Democrats' Stand on Security
Senator Tom Daschle demanded an apology from President Bush
for saying that the Senate was "not interested in the
security of the American people."
HAHAHAHAHA! i actually saw this guy in his huff on the news and i also saw bush's response...they are both idiots
A Theater Gets a New Name: Al Hirschfeld
The Martin Beck Theater will be renamed for the illustrator
Al Hirschfeld, in tribute to his running 76-year chronicle
of the life of Broadway.
could this person be related to my ex-roomie becky? ya never know, but i would be curious to find out. maybe i'll ask her some day if i get the chance/remember
Judge Rules for 3 Insurers on Coverage of Twin Towers
A federal judge ruled that 3 of 20 insurers owed Larry A.
Silverstein's insurance payments for only a single attack
at the World Trade Center towers instead of two.
