I have realized that the first cut is the deepest, but for me it has finally healed. It may have left a scar upon my heart, but it is healed none the less. Whoever tries to rip it back open hasn't learned how to love and will end up cutting themself in the process. Time may heal all wounds, but time can't erase the scars. Only love can fade the scars that time leaves behind.
