(no subject)
Last night I got a call shortly after 6 from job #2. It was my friend Megan calling to see where I was and why I wasn't there yet. UMMMM yeah no... I was not available for last night. I really don't know why I was on the schedule, and oh well... I did not go in. I didn't even get the message until almost 7 b/c my phone has been jacked up lately with all the tower issues etc thanks to our friend Hurricane Charley. I wouldn't have even known except that I got a text message and when I went to open that I saw I had 2 un-played messages. GRRRRRRRR MAKE MY PHONE BE NORMAL AGAIN! Anyway-- Leah wasn't upset, she was covered, and said it was an extremely slow night anyway. :) HOORAH FOR ME NOT GETTING IN TROUBLE
Yesterday I spent the entire day at Vista Way meeting and greeting all the new fall CPs. Oh boy what fun. :) There were some interesting folks to say the least (there always are) but for the most part, I met a pretty good group of students. Hopefully this semester will be MUCH better than the last couple. We really could use a good program to make all the grumpy FTers not so hateful to the slacker CPs. I know I shouldn't put them all into one category, but with the exception of MAYBE 4 (out of a totall of 48-50) my location has gotten a BAD GROUP. I must say, with the CPs this time, they've brought it on themselves. It's amazing how a few call ins and attitudes of "who cares" really turns a group of people against you. I will not get on my soap box, but if you want stories, I have PLENTY (and that's just my one location, granted it is a LARGE location, but still one none the less)! (Don't get me wrong, I have lots of CMs, FT and CRs alike who are just as slackerish if not worse) Like I said, I think from what I met yesterday we'll have a really good, hard working group this semester. The coolest kid I met though isn't even working in my location. He's going to Operations rather than Merch. I really want to steal him away for my loc, but alas, no can do. Henry would kill me. Good kid though.
